Welcome to the RODHS Website

We'll continue using "RODHS" even though it is now a Middle School.   <sigh>

Note from the Webmaster:

Some may have noted this site had not been updated in quite some time. Your webmaster had a computer crash and lost the program which is used to create the website. It was Microsoft Front Page which is now woefully out of date and  no longer available or supported.  Since our major event, the 50th Reunion, is long over and site views were way down, it was decided to see if closing the site was an option. Strong support from both Jerry Snider and Dave Richey convinced me to purchase new software and completely reconstitute the site. Further, I received financial support from a number of classmates which  helped pay for the web hosting server and some new software, Microsoft Expressions 4. We all gratefully thank those generous contributors.

Accordingly, here is the new site. I have retained much of the old but eliminated a lot of no longer relevant information. I hope you like it.  The new sofware is much more sophisticated and is taking some time to learn, especially the new publishing "conventions".  It is challenging, but I am enjoying it. I expect to continually update and enhance my skills.  Any suggestions or  comments regarding desired content improvements or navigation difficulites would be much appreciated.

Mission

The mission of this site is to provide the the means for classmates to reconnect and enjoy learning about each other.  Many of us have remained in touch with close friends, but have wondered about others that we knew -- this is the place to re-establish those old friendships and even pick up some new ones -- after all there is a strong common bond.

Events - here we'll list upcoming events and the relevant details

News - pictures and  details of happenings will be found here plus any other miscellaneous information that doesn't fit elsewhere.

Achievements - in retirement all kinds of things fun things happen with our time. Here we'll list what some of our classmates have done with hobbies or special interests. Check it out we have some real talent in our class.

Blogs - This is a new area which may prove interesting. We invite anyone who has something to say to provide a blog. We'll publish for either information or as something to stimulate additional conversation. Your webmaster is not quite clever enough to make it real time, but you never know. It could be easier than I think.

Classmate Names and Addresses - This is essentially unchanged - use it to contact your friends. Note, the information is only as good as what you provide. Please keep me updated on your latest information.
